A skateboarder sustained serious injuries after an accident in Kitchener.
At around 10:40 a. m., police arrived at the scene of a reported crash near Bridge Street West and Woolwich Street.
According to police, a 28-year-old was riding their skateboard when they were hit by an SUV traveling west on Bridge Street. The man was taken to a hospital outside the area with significant injuries.
The area was closed off for two hours while the investigation took place.
