The Ontario Labour Relations Board says the federal government will not be unlawfully locking out provincial engineers who’re participating in rotating strikes.
Members of the Skilled Engineers Authorities of Ontario (PEGO) filed a criticism with the board final month alleging the federal government successfully suspended the employees by telling them they’ll’t return to work “until further notice by the employer.”
The engineers had been collaborating in rotating strikes asthey negotiate a brand new contract by stopping work on Freeway 413 and Bradford Bypass tasks.
The labour board says it was not glad that the federal government was unlawfully locking out or threatening to lock out the engineers and dismissed their software.
A spokeswoman for Treasury Board President Caroline Mulroney says the federal government continues to work on a good cope with the engineers.
