There’s been layoffs within the native tech sector.
CityNews Kitchener has realized there’s been one other spherical of restructuring at ApplyBoard.

We deeply appreciate and thank every departing team member for their contributions to ApplyBoard,” stated CEO and Co-Founder, Meti Basiri, in a launch. “We continue to actively invest in our technology, teams, and global expansion. ApplyBoard remains committed to its mission of making education accessible to students around the world, unlocking their potential through the power of education.”
An ApplyBoard spokesperson confirmed roughly 4 per cent of the corporate’s international workforce members, positioned in Ontario, are affected.
The tutorial expertise platform was based in 2015 and has headquarters in Kitchener.
