KITCHENER – Authorities report that a 40-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a 44-year-old woman was discovered dead in Kitchener, Ont., on Monday.
Waterloo Regional Police state that officers responded to a residence near Highland Road West and Patricia Avenue on Monday afternoon following reports of a disturbance.
Upon their arrival, they found the 44-year-old woman deceased at the scene.
Police have arrested the 40-year-old woman from Kitchener and charged her with first-degree murder.
Investigators believe there was a relationship between the two women.
The accused is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
