Stanley Park Public School is ready to reopen on Wednesday, Dec 3, after a water main break caused the school to shut down on Tuesday.
The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) informed everyone about the closure early Tuesday morning, which affected students’ ability to attend classes that day.
Students at Stanley Park PS engaged in their virtual learning environment for the day since the school’s water supply had to be turned off.
A spokesperson from Kitchener Utilities told City News Kitchener that Hickson Road needed to be closed between Inlet Avenue and River Road East while repairs were made.
