A driver from Kitchener has been arrested following a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian in The Blue Mountains.
Collingwood OPP responded to the crash on Grey Road 19 at about 8:30 p. m. on January 31.
A vehicle struck a pedestrian and then left the scene.
The event prompted a search by provincial police, which led to the arrest of a suspect on February 5.
The individual is a 31-year-old man from Kitchener, facing charges for failing to stop after an accident that resulted in injury.
OPP are still looking for witnesses or anyone who might have dash cam footage of a grey Acura CSX with significant front-end damage that traveled between Collingwood and Port Elgin on January 31 or February 1.
