Jewellery retailer theft at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an armed theft at a jewellery retailer inside Conestoga Mall.

Police acquired a number of calls in regards to the incident round 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers aren’t certain how many individuals have been concerned.

“What we can say is that multiple suspects entered the jewelry store,” mentioned Const. Chris Iden. “It’s believed that a weapon… a hammer, and we believe bear spray, were used in the process.”

Police mentioned there have been no arrests they usually’re working to trace down the suspects.

Indicators have been put up at mall entrances saying that the constructing is closed till additional discover.
