A social media well-known corgi from Kitchener, Ont. is being acknowledged for one thing aside from his on-line presence.
Waldo the corgi has almost 14,000 TikTok followers and his wiggle and wobble are well-known for his appearances in a number of commercials and his head-turning visits to native festivals.
“Every year at the Oktoberfest festhallen in downtown, we bring him in lederhosen and then he’ll meet and great with people,” stated Jess Parker, Waldo’s proprietor.

However about one week in the past, a routine stroll with Parker took a flip.
The trail behind her dwelling was fairly muddy after a variety of snow melted, which made situations fairly slippery. It took Parker’s toes proper out from beneath her.
“My body went and my right leg didn’t. I heard a giant crack and I knew that something was wrong,” stated Parker. “My foot was facing completely east and my body was facing north. So it was very gruesome.”

“I saw him out in the distance tugging on a stranger’s pant leg. He starts barking and he leads the guy to me. I’ve never met this guy before,” Parker stated.
However Waldo instantly took off once more. What Parker didn’t know was he had dashed to get extra assist. This time, he received the eye of Parker’s landlord and her husband.
“We just came right down and I could see some people gathering,” stated husband Brady Parker. “I could hear Jess. She was in a lot of pain.”

“The doctor said I got there just in time. I was losing a lot of blood to my foot and that can be quite dangerous,” stated Parker.

“I had hoped I’d never find out, but thankfully, Waldo did pass the Lassie test,” she stated.
