Man Injured in Kitchener Stabbing Early Today

Police are searching for a suspect following a stabbing that occurred early this morning in Kitchener, leaving a man hospitalized.

Waterloo regional police reported that the incident took place shortly after 1:30 a. m. on Wednesday near Joseph Street and Ontario Street South.

A 31-year-old man was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Investigators believe this was a targeted attack.

No descriptions of the suspect have been released by police at this point.
