4 youngsters have been charged after a violent carjacking within the metropolis of Brampton.


Peel Regional Police mentioned a sufferer was lured to satisfy a suspect in a car parking zone close to Goreway Drive and Queen Avenue East on Nov. 17.


Investigators mentioned shortly after the 2 folks met up, two different suspects approached the sufferer from behind.


They mentioned the sufferer was choked and punched a number of instances and fell unconscious. When the sufferer got here again to his sense, his telephone, pockets and car had been gone. The sufferer was taken to a hospital for remedy.


Investigators mentioned the suspects jumped into the stolen automotive and picked up a fourth suspect. Officers later discovered the car close to Kennedy Street and Twistleton Avenue in Caledon. A high-risk car cease was carried out and all 4 suspects had been arrested.


A 13-year-old woman from Kitchener has been charged with possession of stolen property.


A 14-year-old London woman has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property.


A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, each from Brampton, have been charged with theft, sporting a disguise with intent and possession of stolen property.


Police mentioned one of many teenagers was out on a type of judicial launch whereas a second was wished on an excellent warrant.


Police mentioned extra charges could possibly be made because the investigation continues.
