Ontario Provincial Police say two separate house invasions, one in Kingston, Ont. and one on Wolfe Island, is perhaps linked.


The OPP and Kingston police at the moment are collectively investigating the 2 incidents.


The primary case occurred at round 4 a.m. on Aug. 22 at a house on Street 96 on Wolfe Island, when somebody assaulted the folks inside. Within the preliminary hours after the assault, police stated there may need been a threat to public security and instructed residents on the island to maintain doorways and home windows locked. It was later decided the assaults have been focused.


Simply over one month later, on Sept. 23, Kingston police responded to a house invasion within the space of Frontenac and Brock streets simply earlier than midnight. Two folks suffered critical, however not life-threatening accidents.


“It’s believed the incidents have been focused and could also be linked. In every case, the attacker fled earlier than police arrived. In depth searches, together with Canine Models, did not find a suspect,” the OPP stated in a information launch Friday.
