Two 14-year-olds have been charged after an alleged incident that occurred Thursday involving a duplicate handgun and threats in Amherstview, close to Kingston, Ont., in keeping with the Ontario provincial Police (OPP).

Police say they obtained a name round 6 p.m., reporting two boys had entered two shops on Manitou Crescent, making threats through the use of what seemed to be a handgun.

As they had been leaving the primary retailer, they displayed handgun, threatening one particular person, police say.

“They then entered a close-by drug retailer the place they held the handgun in an people face and pulled the set off. They then started pointing the weapon at different individuals and pulling the set off,” the OPP stated in a publish on X Friday.
