One individual is deceased and one is wounded after a collision in South Frontenac Township, east of Kingston, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police say first responders rushed to the scene of a automobile collision on Rosedale Street, north of the Village of Sydenham, at round 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police say a industrial van travelling alongside the highway struck a 15-year-old male who strolling in the identical path.

They are saying the youth, from Kingston, was pronounced deceased on the scene, and one other pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor accidents sustained within the collision.

Investigators say they spoke with the 57-year-old driver on the scene.
