A snowmobile operator has lost her life following a collision with a pick-up truck in Loyalist Township on Thursday afternoon.
Lennox & Addington OPP arrived at the scene of the incident on County Road 5, located between County Road 4 and Newburgh Road, at 3:15 p. m. The victim, a 61-year-old woman from Kingston, was pronounced dead at the site.
The individuals in the truck were unharmed.
Authorities are continuing their investigation, with support from a Technical Collision Investigation officer and a Collision Reconstructionist from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team.
