The 2025 Sunshine list has been released, showing salaries of public sector employees who earn over $100,000 annually.

In this year’s list, more than 400,000 individuals were featured, marking a seven percent rise compared to last year.

In Kingston, David Pichora took first place as President and CEO of Kingston Health Sciences Centre with a salary of $581,250. This is down five percent from his earnings of $613,322 in 2024.

Taking second place was Jane Philpot, dean at Queen’s University’s Health Sciences. She chose not to run for another term so she could focus on improving health systems instead. Her salary was $552,707. Following her were three staff members from Smith School of Business: Tina Dacin earned $520,527 while Shai Dubey made $475,106 and Wanda Costen received $438,877.
