“On Friday, December 26, 2025, at around 2:40 a. m., members of Frontenac OPP were dispatched to a report of gunshots at a residence on Sydenham Mill Street. Officers arrived on scene shortly after and confirmed no injuries were sustained,” OPP confirmed in a written statement.
“The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Frontenac OPP Crime Unit,” OPP said.
The OPP is urging residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity they notice to the police right away.
“If you have any information or video footage that may be related to this incident, please call OPP at 1-888-310-1122,” OPP requested. “Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit information online at www. ontariocrimestoppers. ca where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.”
