J. Gary Ritchie
July 4, 1939 – August 31, 2024
Gary handed away peacefully at dwelling on Saturday night, August thirty first, 2024, along with his beloved spouse, Beverley, at his aspect.
Gary was the cherished son of the late Allan and Bridget Ritchie. Gary was the oldest of seven youngsters, Dale (late Sandra), Beverly Carbery (Michael), Neal (Ann), late Grant (Pat), Brian (Betty) and Norman (Monique).
Gary might be remembered by his sister-in-law, Joan Robertson and her husband, Bruce Robertson. Gary was Uncle to a number of nieces and nephews who reside in Eire and Canada. They are going to miss his presence at any future household gatherings in our properties and on the Ritchie Household Cottage on Bob’s Lake.
Gary and Beverley (nee Ryder) quietly marked their forty fifth Wedding ceremony Anniversary on July 6, 2024, at dwelling. Additionally they shared great reminiscences of Gary’s 85 years on his birthday on July 4, 2024. Sadly, Gary was too unwell to take part in any celebrations.
A Funeral Mass might be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 392 Palace Highway, Kingston at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 4th, 2024. Previous to the Funeral Mass, there might be a visitation interval at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church from 12:00 – 12:50 pm. After the funeral, interment might be at Cataraqui Cemetery, 927 Purdy’s Mill Highway, Kingston. A reception to welcome all guests might be held at James Reid Funeral House Reception Centre, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston after the interment. Please enter by means of the rear doorways.
