Kingston, Ont. police say a number of folks have been arrested and charged following a break-in at a house within the metropolis’s east finish final week.


In line with police, three folks broke into a house within the space of Rogers Aspect Street and Freeway 2 at round 10:30 p.m. Saturday, with out realizing folks have been inside. A member of the household heard noises and noticed somebody with a flashlight within the hallway.


The household chased the would-be thieves out of the home. Because the suspects tried to get right into a getaway automobile, the home-owner blocked them on the finish of the cul-de-sac with a automotive. Earlier than police may arrive, an unknown individual rammed into the home-owner’s automotive with a pickup truck. The home-owner then went again inside the home and the suspects bought away.


Police mentioned their investigation revealed that one suspect had cased the home earlier within the day and returned with two others to rob it within the night, not figuring out anybody can be there.


Police arrested a 50-year-old woman and a 42-year-old woman on Sunday, who’re every charged with breaking and getting into. A 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with breaking and getting into on Tuesday.


Police proceed to search for the truck and its driver. The truck is believed to be both a 2016 or 2017 Dodge Ram, presumably darkish or pink in coloration. It’s believed the truck can have vital front-end harm together with a lacking headlight.
