A transport truck carrying tomatoes flipped onto its facet on Freeway 401 within the Kingston space, “rapidly turning into tomato sauce.”
Freeway 401 was closed for a number of hours on Wednesday east of Gardiners Highway following a collision involving the tractor-trailer.
“Crews are working to unload the cargo of tomatoes, which is rapidly turning into tomato sauce,” Ontario Provincial Police stated on X.
A photograph posted on social media confirmed two heavy tow vans working to maneuver the transport truck again onto its wheels.
The truck driver was handled for minor accidents.
