The driving force of a pickup truck was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash east of Kingston on Wednesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police have been known as to the westbound lanes of Freeway 401 east of the 1000 Islands Parkway at roughly 10:30 a.m.
Police say the driving force was travelling eastbound after they misplaced management of the automobile, crossed the median into the westbound lanes and struck a tree earlier than catching hearth.
The roadway was closed in each instructions for about two hours as firefighters put out the fireplace.
The driving force, who was alone within the automobile, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening accidents, police say.
All lanes of the freeway have been reopened by 1 p.m.
