Ottawa Ontario Provincial Police report that a woman collided with the center median of Highway 401 in Kingston on Wednesday evening, exited her vehicle, and was then struck and killed by another vehicle.

According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a woman hit the center median of Highway 401 in Kingston on Wednesday evening, got out of her vehicle, and was subsequently struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.
The OPP indicated that the event occurred on the westbound highway near the Division Street interchange shortly after 7 p. m.
The victim, who was 56 years old, has not been named, nor has her place of residence been disclosed.
This accident caused a closure of the westbound highway until early Thursday morning. Authorities stated that their investigation is ongoing.
