A man has died, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), following a motorcycle crash involving only his vehicle in Caledonia.
OPP reports that the man was riding his motorcycle when he struck an object on the road, causing him to be thrown off the bike.
Emergency services including police, firefighters, and paramedics were called to 4th Line at around 12:25 p. m. on Wednesday.
The man was declared dead at the scene, as stated by police.
Authorities closed 4th Line between Mc Kenzie Road and Haldimand Road 9 for several hours on Wednesday, but it has since reopened, OPP confirmed.
