On Thursday, September 26, 2024, shortly after 3:30 p.m., a collision occurred within the eastbound lane of Barton Avenue East at Barnesdale Avenue North, in Hamilton.
A 74-year-old male from Hamilton was driving his Harley Davidson bike eastbound on Barton Avenue East, approaching Barnesdale Avenue North. A Jeep Cherokee, pushed by a 59-year-old male from St Catharines, was westbound on Barton Avenue East. The Jeep turned left throughout the eastbound lanes and the bike struck the facet of the Jeep, ejecting the bike rider.
