The Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) is advising of sturdy shore-bound winds forecasted for Wednesday and Thursday (February 12 and 13). There’s an elevated threat of serious localized flooding and erosion alongside Hamilton’s shoreline, as a result of storm surge and wave motion brought on by these winds.
Native forecasts count on sturdy sustained winds from the east and north-east of as much as 38 km/hr, with most wind gusts of as much as 64 km/hr. Most wave heights of two.3 m are forecasted.
