The weather agency warns that travel could be dangerous and some routes might become impassable. Road closures are also possible.
A special weather statement has also been issued regarding gusty winds up to 80 km/h in Waterloo region, Guelph, and Wellington County.
According to Environment Canada’s statement, southwest winds will shift westward Wednesday night and then switch to northwest Thursday afternoon or evening.
