Jacob Edward Watson Savoy of Guelph, Ontario, handed away immediately and peacefully at residence on Jan. 20.

Jacob was the beloved son of Rev. Jason and Connie Savoy, and expensive brother of Benjamin and Jesse Savoy. Jacob can also be survived by his grandmother, Wanda Value of New Bandon, NB; his uncles Blaine Savoy (Dianne) of Calgary, AB, Edward Savoy (Dorothy) of Saint John, NB, and Coleman Value (Lorenda) of Collette, NB; and his aunt Rose Furlong (Joseph) of Miramichi, NB. He’s additionally survived by many cousins whom he dearly liked, in addition to three people who held a particular place in his coronary heart: Aaron Bonas, Dakota Fleury, and David Williams.

Jacob was predeceased by his grandfathers, Edward Savoy and Rev. Cole Value, his grandmother, Genevieve Savoy, and his uncle, Donald Savoy (Peggy).

Although Jacob was solely 23 years outdated on the time of his passing, he lived a life full of affection, laughter, and keenness. Jacob discovered his residence in church, significantly at Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church in Cambridge, the place he felt really accepted and liked. Whereas his father was his pastor for 16 years, Jacob at all times had a particular fondness for the one he referred to as “his favourite pastor”, Rev. John Moorhead of Cornerstone UPC.

When you’ve ever met Jacob, you rapidly discovered two issues: he was a self-proclaimed jokester, and he had a coronary heart as candy as they arrive. He liked to share his humour and hold conversations going together with his infinite curiosity. Visitation shall be held at Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, 146 Ballantyne Ave., Cambridge, on February 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m., with a “Celebration of Life” service to be held instantly after at 2:00 p.m., adopted by a reception within the church fellowship corridor.  

Flower preparations may be despatched on to Cornerstone UPC.

A burial service shall be held at a later date in Porter Cove, New Brunswick. Preparations entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

Memorial contributions may be made, by way of e-transfer – [email protected], to Jacob’s beloved church, Cornerstone UPC (Constructing Fund).

A tree shall be planted in reminiscence of Jacob E. W. Savoy within the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
