Born in Toronto to the late Russell and Reta Salmon. John handed in Guelph Ontario in his a hundred and first 12 months. Proud grandfather of Scott Salmon (Aleisha), Katrina Salmon (Toby) and great-grandfather of Casey, Tristan and Nova Salmon. Survived by his sister-in-law Dorothea Salmon and niece Melissa Sensible (David). Predeceased by his brother Robert (Bob).
Dad grew up in despair period Toronto. When he got here of age through the Second World Conflict, he volunteered for lively army service and joined the Royal Canadian Air Pressure. Following his coaching in Canada he was assigned to RCAF 436 Squadron and despatched to serve abroad in Burma (Myanmar). He remained there in lively service till the top of the conflict. Following the top of the conflict he continued his service in England and Germany. On returning residence he started his apprenticeship as an auto mechanic. Quickly after that he met the love of his life, Helen Robertson, who would turn into his spouse and our Mother.
