Albert ‘Dennis’ Rea handed away peacefully on the age of 75 on November 13, 2024.
Born in London, Ontario, Dennis grew up on a farm in Blanshard Township together with his dad and mom, Ila (Foster) and Andrew, and his 9 siblings. He moved to Kitchener at 16 to begin work at what got here to be often called Chicopee Manufacturing as a machinist. After 48 years of dedication and laborious work, Dennis retired to take pleasure in a brand new chapter as grasp gardener, pickleball participant and full-time grampa. He will probably be drastically missed by his loving spouse of 51 years, Sandy (Anneveld), his sons Kris (Brooke), Matt (Laura) and Tyler, his grandchildren Elliot, Hillary, Andrew and Elsie, his youthful brother Paul (Cathy), brother-in-law to Deb (Anneveld) and Heather (Rob) Campbell, and lots of nieces and nephews.
Dennis was very keen about sports activities, particularly the New York Yankees and Minnesota Vikings in addition to tending and sharing his produce from his very giant backyard, attending his grandkids’ ball video games, and taking part in cribbage and playing cards. Nothing made him smile greater than fixing one thing together with his arms, particularly for different individuals. He’ll at all times be remembered as a really beneficiant, exceedingly form, and loving man who loved being within the service of others.
Pals will probably be obtained at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral service will probably be held within the funeral residence chapel on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Reception to comply with within the Wall-Custance Household Reception Centre.
