TORONTO — Police allege an individual who reported that their canine had been stabbed by a person in a Toronto park on Tuesday was in reality answerable for hurting the animal.
Police initially mentioned the canine was on a stroll with its proprietor in Ramsden Park on Tuesday afternoon when the incident befell.
On the time, investigators mentioned they have been in search of a suspect described as a six-foot-tall man sporting a puffer jacket and surgical masks and carrying two knives.
Police now allege the one who made the grievance wounded the canine and gave a false assertion to officers, and is predicted to face charges.
A police spokesperson says “the connection between the accused and the canine is a part of the investigation.”
Police say the canine had a number of wounds however is now in secure situation and is predicted to recuperate.
