We remorse to announce the passing of Helen Delavina Nisbet, (Energy) RR4 Rockwood, Ontario, previously of Guelph on February 1, 2025 on the Guelph Normal Hospital.
Born in Alder Level, Cape Breton on March 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Sarah (Dugas) Energy. Dela was one in all fourteen youngsters.
Dela was predeceased by her husband Abraham Laird Nisbet (2001) and son Eoin (2024).
She is survived by her son Brian, daughters Kimberly Gauvreau (Mike) and Mary Jane Watson (John) and sister Laura Jane Cathcart. Additionally survived by sisters-in-law Venita Energy and Geraldine Energy.
Additionally left to mourn are her grandchildren, Christopher Gauvreau, Sheena Gauvreau, Chrisondra Watson, Nicoal Watson, Melissa Watson and Richard Watson and 5 nice grandchildren.
Dela was additionally predeceased by brothers Joseph, Jim, Charles, Peter, Wensley, Donnie and Murdock and sisters Delavina (1939), Catherine, Robina, June and Rhoda.

A tree shall be planted in reminiscence of H. Delavina (Dela) Nisbet within the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
