A 21-year-old from Mississauga is currently hospitalized with severe head and facial injuries following a violent altercation at Stampede Ranch in Guelph on Saturday night.
Emergency services responded around 11:30 p. m. to the bar located on Woodlawn Road West after receiving reports about a fight involving three men, two of whom were injured.
“One of the males who was assaulted unfortunately sustained some very serious head and facial injuries,” Guelph police spokesperson Scott Tracey told .
“The second person sustained some minor facial injuries. I don’t believe he received medical treatment for those,” Tracey said.
A Georgetown resident, age 20, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault.
His bail hearing is set for Monday.
