Funding helps building of a brand new one-kilometre path connecting the Trans Canada Path to the Goderich to Guelph Rail Path
Guelph, Ont., October 16, 2024 – The Metropolis of Guelph is happy to be receiving an funding of $175,000 from the Authorities of Canada by the Federal Financial Improvement Company for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) Tourism Development Program in southern Ontario for the Metropolis’s Guelph Junction Railway Multi-Use Path mission.
The brand new multi-use path is a part of the Guelph Path Grasp Plan and can prolong between Woolwich Avenue and Woodlawn Street. Connecting the Goderich to Guelph Rail Path and the Trans Canada Path will assist folks of all ages and talents get across the metropolis, promote lively transportation and improve tourism and financial growth alternatives in Downtown Guelph.
