TORONTO — Toronto police say they’re investigating after a collision between a pedestrian and a automotive left a 64-year-old man lifeless within the metropolis’s east finish on Saturday night time.
Police say officers responded to the crash in Scarborough simply after 5:30 p.m.
They are saying a 52-year-old woman was travelling westbound in an SUV on Sheppard Avenue East and the male pedestrian was crossing the road from the north aspect to the south aspect.
They are saying the person stopped within the centre turning lane to attend for a break in eastbound visitors when he was struck by the SUV.
Police say life-saving measures had been carried out on the person, however he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
