Fifty-five folks have been sworn in as Canadian residents, representing 14 nations of origin, on Wednesday

“Why not Canada?”

When Krishna Chandori was requested why he and his spouse selected Canada, he didn’t hesitate. As if selecting Canada was the plain factor to do.

“We are really proud,” Vadali stated. “Today is one of the best days to be a citizen, and we are really proud to be a citizen of Canada.”

It lasted about an hour. Every candidate was handed a certificates and was given a pin and a Canadian flag.

The occasion completed with the group singing the nationwide anthem in each official languages, and a lunch was offered.

A slew of citizenship ceremonies are being held this week throughout the nation for Welcoming Week.
