Guelph, Ontario – At Wellington County Council’s inaugural assembly, Chris White, Mayor of Guelph/Eramosa, was elected Warden for the 2024-2026 time period.
Warden White was elected to Guelph/Eramosa Township Council in 2003. In 2006, White was elected Mayor and has held the place since. In 2010 and 2012, he was elected Warden for 2 consecutive phrases.
Whereas on County Council, Warden White been a member of the next committees and boards:
Administration, Finance and Human Assets (Chair)
Financial Improvement (Previous Chair)
Wellington County O.P.P. Detachment Board
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Well being Board
Grand River Conservation Authority Board (Chair)
Rural Ontario Municipal Affiliation (ROMA) (Previous Chair)
Affiliation of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) (Previous Chair Rural Caucus)
Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus
