Ines Favrin (nee Torresan) A mom, Nonna, sister, aunt, cousin and pal/paesana handed peacefully at Hospice Wellington on October 28, 2024 in her 98th yr.
Born in Loria, Treviso, Italy, she got here to Canada in 1964 with a strong-willed and resilient angle and work ethic to offer for her household. She shall be dearly missed by her son, Silvio and his spouse, Diana, and her cherished grandchildren: Zoe and Teo.
Ines is predeceased by her husband, Lindo, her dad and mom, Alice and Silvio, her siblings: Elsa, Pietro (Pierrin) and Lia. She is fondly remembered by her brother, Aldo and his spouse, Margherita, nieces, nephews, cousins and mates from Canada and Italy.
A life well-lived, Ines loved knitting, studying, listening to music, baking and reminiscing of her homeland.
Visitation will happen at Gilbert McIntyre Funeral Dwelling, Hart Chapel, positioned at 1099 Gordon Road, Guelph, Ontario, on November 3, 2024 between the hours of two p.m. and 4 p.m. A funeral mass shall be held on November 4, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. John’s Church positioned at 45 Victoria Road North, Guelph, Ontario instantly adopted by interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario.
