It’s with nice disappointment and damaged hearts that we announce the passing of our Father who handed peacefully in his sleep within the consolation of his residence on the morning of November twelfth on the age of 89.
He fought a protracted onerous battle with COPD and wouldn’t have lasted so long as he did with out the love and assist of his household and his stubbornness, humor and the love he had for his spouse of 65 years.
Jim was born in Harriston, Ontario on Might 1st, 1935 to his late mother and father Lillian Evans (nee Whatmore) and William Evans. He’s predeceased by his brothers Invoice, Percy, Popeye, Bob and sisters Lillian and Joyce.
He’s survived by the love of his life his spouse Mildred Caroline Evans (nee Steinhagen) for the previous 65 years and his 7 youngsters Debra Steinhagen, James Evans, William Evans, Lillian Evans, Carol Evans, Bradley Evans, and Jeffery Evans (Rachelle). He’s survived by 12 cherished grandchildren and 20 nice grandchildren.
He labored onerous all of his life and was employed by Malleable iron, Rockwell after which Hematite till his retirement. As soon as he retired, he helped round the home and even discovered to prepare dinner beneath Mother’s steering.
He cherished watching Wrestling, Hockey, and Jerry Springer, He cherished getting his digs into the leaf followers within the household as his favourite staff was any staff however the Mapleleafs. In his youthful days he appreciated to fish and play golf and playing cards.
He’s going to be drastically missed by his loving spouse, household, and associates.
