TORONTO — Police say 23 individuals have been arrested after near 100 photographs have been fired between two teams close to a recording studio in Toronto final evening.
Toronto Police Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue says it is “exceptional” that nobody was injured within the gunfire alternate that occurred within the space of Queen Road West and Sudbury Road round 11:20 p.m.
She says a stolen automobile pulled as much as a recording studio and three suspects exited the automobile to open fireplace on a gaggle of individuals gathered exterior.
Pogue says that escalated into an alternate of gunfire between two teams, with among the bullets placing an unmarked police cruiser with officers inside who have been within the space for an unrelated investigation.
She says officers have been capable of field within the stolen automobile because the suspects tried to flee, however two of them managed to flee and are nonetheless on the run.
Pogue says a subsequent investigation resulted within the arrests of 23 individuals and seizure of 16 firearms, a few of which have been discovered within the recording studio.
