‘Beast Games’ investigated by Canadian government over injury on Toronto set

MrBeast’s ‘Beast Games’ is beneath investigation by the Ontario Labor Ministry on account of an industrial accident on the set. 

When Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson revealed that he’d be making a TV present impressed by Squid Sport and his hottest YouTube uploads, loads of followers have been excited. They couldn’t wait to see how the YouTuber’s success may very well be constructed upon with the backing of Amazon.

There had been claims of contestants being poorly handled throughout their time on set. This led to a lawsuit being filed in Los Angeles. There have additionally been reviews of accidents suffered by contestants and crew members. One crew member was hospitalized after a 6×6 piece of a tower fell on him.

Employee injured in filming of Beast Video games

Now, the Ontario Labor Ministry is investigating an “industrial accident” on the set as a crew member was hit by “falling wood” through the filming. 

As per CBC’s report, the extent of the accidents was not shared with anybody as a result of ongoing investigation. Nonetheless, the Labor Ministry issued each Blink 49 Studios and Manhattan Seaside Studios a “requirement.” The extent of that, too, is unknown.

Moreover, the report states that Toronto Police have been referred to as after the set piece fell. Nonetheless, because it was not a prison incident they didn’t press ahead with an investigation.
