It’s with profound disappointment and heavy hearts that the Turner Household announce the sudden passing of Susan Lynn Turner (nee Filman), peacefully at her house in Orillia, Ontario on November 6, 2024.
Susan is survived by her beloved husband and finest buddy of 40 years, Terry. She is deeply missed by her three youngsters, Sean (Brittany), Darcy, and Carly (Drew). Ever-loving Nonnie to her three grandchildren, Colson, Wyatt, and Eloise. Devoted sister to Diane and Linda. Auntie to her nieces and nephews. Susan’s biggest pleasure was her many family and friends.
Susan was born in Hamilton, Ontario to William Filman and Nancy Dawson. She attended Central Excessive Faculty, in addition to Lord Elgin Excessive Faculty in Burlington, Ontario and was a member of the Burlington Teen Tour Band. Susan went on to attend York College the place she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Social Work, all whereas elevating a younger household. Susan devoted 25 years of her working life to the Kids’s Help Society.
It was within the Fall of 2000 that Susan was identified with breast most cancers.

A celebration of Susan’s life will happen on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Hawk Ridge Golf Membership from 1pm to 4pm, with acknowledgments at 2pm.
