With Doug Ford about to go to the Lieutenant Governor later at the moment to dissolve the legislature the federal government is pushing funding bulletins out the door. Among the many bulletins is funding for 3 elementary colleges in Hamilton, together with a brand new highschool in Binbrook and growth of elementary colleges in Stoney Creek and Hamilton.
The funding consists of $52 million to construct the brand new Binbrook Catholic Secondary College which can create greater than 1,000 scholar areas at a website to be acquired.
The opposite colleges receiving funding are:
• St. Paul Catholic Elementary College, 24 Amberwood St., Stoney Creek – $6.9 million to create 141 elementary scholar areas and 49 new licensed youngster care areas.
• Janet Lee Elementary College, 291 Winterberry Drive Stoney Creek – $7.8 million to create162 elementary scholar areas and 88 licensed youngster care areas.
In July the federal government introduced funding for a brand new HWDSB elementary college in Binbrook.
