Individual ‘in crisis’ ends in heavy police presence in downtown Burlington | INhalton
A disaster involving an individual late Friday evening (Oct. 4) has resulted in a heavy police presence in downtown Burlington.
Halton Regional Police turned to social media platform X (previously Twitter) to inform residents of their presence downtown in coping with what they’re saying is “a person in crisis.”
The incident occurred someday earlier than 9 p.m. close to Fairview Road and Brant Road.
“The incident is contained and there is no longer a threat to public safety,” stated Halton Police of the incident which occurred shortly earlier than 9 p.m.
Police say no accidents have been reported.
