Hamilton’s Mohawk Faculty says it will arrange new studying hubs and campuses in close by Burlington, Ont., over the following a number of years.

The school and town issued the joint announcement Wednesday in a media launch.

“There are promising alternatives in Burlington in healthcare, in trade, and throughout the regional economic system,” Mohawk Faculty president Paul Armstrong stated within the launch.

“College students are in search of rewarding, fulfilling careers in fascinating communities and employers are in search of well-educated and well-trained staff. Mohawk Faculty is worked up to create pathways to employment.”

Brock College does function a satellite campus in Burlington with instructor teaching programs, however the metropolis is not house to a publicly-funded group faculty.

Mohawk already has a presence within the metropolis via a partnership with Schlegel Villages — a care supplier for older adults — that delivers packages for private assist staff and sensible nurses in addition to occupational remedy assistants and physiotherapy assistants.

The school has its major campus in Hamilton but in addition has a web site in Mississauga geared towards worldwide college students and associate areas in Six Nations of the Grand River.
