This winter and spring, a lively and uplifting experience is happening at Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) for a limited time.
RBG’s 2026 floral showcase is Bloomland in Oz, an amazing adventure inspired by the classic tale The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
This Winter, the RBG Centre transforms into a vibrant world filled with colour, warmth, and wonder. Enjoy captivating botanical displays, beautiful artistic creations, creative life-size installations, and 25,000 real blooms. Brighten your winter days with fragrant flowers and lush greenery as bright as the Emerald City!
Families and visitors of all ages can take part in this special event – now running until April 6th – so get your tickets quickly before they’re sold out.
Being indoors makes it an ideal way to warm up during those cold winter days while experiencing a bit of nature!
As part of the showcase, RBG features Of Wonders Wild and New, a visual arts exhibition showcasing stunning woodworking that draws on themes from the world of Oz.
This breathtaking exhibition showcases six talented artists from across Canada, Six Nations, Italy and Spain along with members of the Ontario Wood Carving Association.
Together these artists explore the beauty and power of nature, duality, our environmental impact, and the stunning qualities of wood.
