Ella Markowsky is a 15-year-old student from Central High School who will be representing the Burlington Aquatic Devilrays at the Swim Ontario 2026 Championships taking place at the Toronto Panam Sports Centre.

Swimming occupies almost all her spare time. Early morning training sessions are part of her weekly schedule.
What does she hope to do after high school? Right now, she’s considering kinesiology.
Math and science are her favorite subjects. Her brother has his own interests.
Coach Sergei Soloukhin believes Ella has a great shot at winning a medal.
“She is part of the rebuilding of the BAD competitive swimming team that was hurt when the Devilrays lost their pool time in 2025.”
