The Ontario Provincial Police say they’re looking for a number of suspects after a car was struck from behind on Freeway 410 and the person inside was robbed.

Police mentioned the incident occurred simply after 8 p.m. Tuesday on the freeway, within the northbound lanes simply north of Sandalwood Drive.

The sufferer’s car was rear-ended by a pink automobile and when the person pulled over to the shoulder to test the injury and alternate data with the motive force when he was robbed by two to 3 masked and armed suspects, police mentioned.

Investigators allege one suspect pulled out a handgun and one other had a knife. Objects from the car had been taken and the person suffered minor accidents through the theft, police mentioned.

The suspects received again into their car and fled the realm. The sufferer made his manner off the freeway and contacted police from a close-by enterprise, the pressure mentioned.

“This is a unique situation,” OPP Sgt. Ted Dongelmans instructed Ontario Chronicle. “The driver did what everyone would do, pulled over to the side of the highway and stopped their vehicle because they’ve been in a minor collision … In this case, obviously, things went differently.”

Police are asking if anybody noticed the incident or has any data together with dashcam footage to contact police.

“The [suspect] descriptions are fairly vague because they were wearing face coverings and the vehicle was described just as a red car,” Dongelmans mentioned.
