A person who died in Brampton on Saturday following preliminary reviews of a “attainable stabbing” was truly shot, Peel police say.

Peel Regional Police Const. Tyler Bell stated officers and EMS had been referred to as to the realm of Chadwick Avenue and Lockwood Street shortly after 3 p.m. for a medical help name exterior of a residence.

Peel police stated investigators are not sure of what led to the capturing and are working to find out what sort of interplay occurred with the suspect or suspects.

In the meantime, police are investigating one other capturing in Brampton’s north finish on Saturday. That capturing occurred just a few hours earlier within the space of Inder Heights Drive and Mayfield Street. 

Police say a person was discovered with a number of gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital in critical situation however is predicted to outlive. 

Bell stated police would not have any data to recommend that the 2 incidents are associated.
