Peel Regional Police say they’ve arrested a 22-year-old worldwide pupil in reference to a string of sexual assaults towards girls of their early 20s who had been ready at bus stops and accepted a trip from somebody posing as a rideshare driver.

Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich stated police obtained three stories of violent sexual assaults, two on Nov. 8 and one on Nov. 16, originating from Brampton, Ont.

On Nov. 8, within the morning hours, a lady was ready at a bus cease ready to go to work close to Countryside Drive and Bramalea Highway in Brampton when a person in a black four-door sedan approached her. The person recognized himself as a rideshare service and provided a trip.

Police additionally confirmed Singh was not related to any rideshare operators and alleged he was utilizing it as “part of his approach and how he was operating.”

“I would like to remind everyone to not accept any unsolicited rides or services,” Milinovich stated.

Singh was arrested in London, Ont., the place he was “visiting associates,” Milinovich stated.
