TORONTO – 4 teenagers aged 13 to 17 are going through prison charges after what police are calling a violent carjacking in Brampton, Ont., on Sunday.
Peel Regional Police say one of many suspects lured a male sufferer to fulfill them in a car parking zone close to Goreway Drive and Queen Road East.
Police allege that two others attacked the sufferer from behind, and he was choked and punched a number of instances till he turned unconscious.
They are saying that when the sufferer regained consciousness, he discovered his cellphone, pockets and car had been stolen, and he was delivered to a hospital for therapy associated to the assault.
Police say they made a “high-risk car cease” close to Kennedy Highway and Twistleton Road in Caledon, Ont., after the suspects travelled within the stolen automotive and picked up a fourth suspect on their approach.
Police say they recovered the sufferer’s property and all 4 suspects had been held pending bail hearings on the Ontario Courtroom of Justice in Brampton.
A 13-year-old woman from Kitchener, Ont., is going through a possession of stolen property cost, and a 14-year-old woman from London, Ont., has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
Two boys from Brampton, aged 16 and 17, are going through charges of theft, carrying a disguise with intent and possession of stolen property.
The youths can’t be recognized below the Youth Legal Justice Act.
Police say one of many youths was wished on an excellent warrant and one other was out on a type of judicial launch.
