Three males from Brampton have been killed in a head-on crash in northwestern Ontario, police say.
Ontario Provincial Police stated that on Thursday shortly after 3:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a collision involving two tractor-trailers on Freeway 17 west of the Township of Ignace.
One of many tractor trailers went into the oncoming lane, inflicting a head-on crash, police stated.
Three males from Brampton, aged 21, 23 and 45, died on the scene.
A passenger in one of many tucks, which was not at fault, wasn’t injured, police stated.
“While the investigation remains ongoing, charges are not being considered at this time,” OPP stated.
